Console Grader
Grader Console provides occupation look-up functionality for applications running on any operating system. Typically, Grader Console is used by market research agencies using Quancept or Bellview software, although it can equally run on Microsoft Windows.
Like all Graders, Grader Console is based on the Market Research Society's publication 'Occupational Groupings - A Job Dictionary' and returns a respondent's Social Grade (A, B, C1, C2, D, E).
Grader 2.0 contains the following key features:
- Optimised to reduce time spent classifying a respondent's social grade (reducing
interview length)
- Fully configurable to adapt to your organisations method of working
- Facility to 'clean' the search criteria, remove typos and automatically match
failed searches with known occupations.
- Search algorithm now uses similar techniques to common web search engines.
The 'cleaning' facility prevents the interviewer spending valuable time re-typing the criteria. This can be particularly important for agencies that employ interviewers where English is not their native language.The Grader Console cleaning facility is self updating and constantly 'learning'. Each search from the Grader Console Community is sent to a common pool to provide a dynamic and powerfully simple method of reducing interview time by learning from others mistakes.
