SelfCoder uses the latest AJAX technology to provide immediate feedback to the user.  AJAX uses Javascript and other components which are supported by over 95% of browsers including Internet Explorer, FireFox and Safari.

When the user makes a keypress, the client web page makes a call directly to the SelfCoder AJAX Web service to interrogate the database (either locally on the same server or at Fusion Software server if hosted solution is chosen) and return the data to the client side Javascript. 

Integration is usually a case of copying and pasting HTML which we generate for you based on your preferences and survey configuration.

Functionality is supplied via web services that run on Windows Server 2003.  Data is stored in Microsoft SQL Server.  If your web site does not use .Net we recommend either hosting at our server, or installing SelfCoder on a seperate Windows Server.
